Introducing Cliptamatic

Our blog has been pretty quiet lately, we must admit. We’ve been pretty preoccupied working on a special project that we’re excited to say we can finally share with the world! Today we just launched a brand new app for the iPhone called Cliptamatic. Our app, which is the culmination of many months of hard work, allows you to watch and share video clips from your favorite Sports, Movies, News, TV and Comedians directly from your phone. Let the BEST moments from the BEST video content help you communicate with friends and family. Head over to the App Store to download Cliptamatic for FREE!

A Look Back at Our Favorite Mashups: Mixed Tape
We love video mashups here at GorillaSpot. Our love affair began in 2007 when we started building our first video application: SceneWeaver. We have since gone on to develop other social and mobile video platforms, but we never forget where started.
So let’s go old school and imagine you are our high school girlfriend and we’re giving you the coolest nostalgic mixed tape ever - but with our take on all the video mashup campaigns we’ve done over the years. This will be an ongoing series where we’ll give you a new “track” every week or so.
Track 1: Sweeney Todd
So let’s go back and see where it all started, on the bloody streets of London with the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. It was seriously cool to have our first project be one where you can slice and dice Johnny Depp’s scenes, just like he was slicing and dicing, well, people. Our version was less gruesome though. We learned a lot about creating a simple user experience while arming the user with enough features to make the video uniquely their own. To this day it was still one of our most successful mashup campaigns.

Stay tuned for many more tracks to come, both new and old…
